Supporters of Honiton Gym Club

Information about some of the individuals and organisatios that have helped Honiton Gym Club recently.

How do we raise money?

With no regular source of income, Honiton Gym Club relies on grants, general fund raising activities and the help of others.  This goes towards buying equipment, sending coaches and judges on courses, and  assisting with funds for national and international competitions.  We're grateful to everyone that has helped the club in the past and also to those that are involved in helping us now.

Below you'll find details of some of our current supporters.

Honiton Gym Club Supporters Assocation
This group of enthusiastic parents and interested parties are the main driving force behind fund raising for the club.  Recent activities they have run to raise money include a fashion show at Escot House, a jumble sale, and raffles at club open days.  If you're interested in getting involved, click here to contact the supporters association chair, Lucy Kennaway.

Rowan Davey, painter and decorator
Father to one of the club's gymnasts, Rowan is one of the most highly regarded painter and decorators in east Devon and he sponsors the club's tracksuits and t-shirts.  You'll see his van driving around Honiton, with the registration plate G1 OSS (GLOSS).
If you want some sharp decorating done that will be the envy of all your neighbours, get in touch with Rowan by calling 01404 43482.

Otter Windows
When Honiton Gym Club was stuck for transport to get them to a festival in Plymouth four days on the trot, Otter Windows came to the rescue, lending us the Honiton AFC minibus, saving us precious money and allowing us to travel in style.  The company continues to support us with the offer of the minibus when it's available, and managing director John xxx is one of the friendliest business men we've met.

Battishorne Trust
The Flanders International Cup in Belgium (in April 2009) was possibly the most prestigious international event our gymnasts have ever been invited to.  The eight Honiton gymnasts that were chosen to go were given financial assistance by the Trust to help fund their travel and accommodation.  Many thanks!
